Lifeguard Training is available throughout the state of Arkansas (AR). Lifeguarding International is an industry leading lifeguard certifying body and we provide lifeguard courses and lifeguard instructor courses in all areas of Arkansas (AR). The delivery methods of the lifeguard and lifeguard instructor courses include: full in-person, blended, and fully remote. All successful class participants will be issued a 2-year certificate that includes lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid.


Lifeguard Certification requirements in Arkansas include:

  • 300 yard swim
  • Tread water for 2 minutes using only one's legs
  • 10 pound brick retrieval
  • Final proctored cognitive exam
  • Final skills demonstration
  • Final skill scenario assessment
